Our paper "QuReBrain: Quantum Data Re-Uploaded VQC for MRI Brain Tumor Classification" was accepted and presented at the 2026 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Quantum Photonics, Artificial Intelligence, and Networking (QPAIN).
What we did
- A lightweight classical CNN extracts features from MRI scans.
- A Variational Quantum Classifier with a data re-uploading strategy makes the final decision.
The model reaches 91.48% precision with only 26,694 trainable parameters, which keeps latency low and points towards edge-deployable diagnostic tools.
